How to ease back into shape – Bio3Fitness Zone Postpartum Classes

Doctors often recommend there to be a six to eight weeks hiatus between giving birth and resuming exercise. This of course varies from women to women and depends on the childbirth experience. We agree that a six to eight week hiatus is necessary because a body needs time to heal and re-energize after childbirth.

Bio3Fitness postpartum fitness classes are designed to help women regain their shape after childbirth through a combination of nutritional tips and specially designed fitness exercises.

We always tell new mothers who are very eager to get back into shape that we do not have to rush into things. We advocate for a slow start to exercise, in order to allow your body to restore some of its vitality and energy. By starting out slow and increasing the effort and exercise dosage day by day, our clients end up achieving much better results and they are guaranteed to feel healthier in the long run.

Our post-partum exercise programs are designed to allow women to regain and ease themselves back into athletic and physical activities at a gradual pace. We start off with short walks, progress to longer and faster walks. Eventually, jogging and core-strengthening exercises are added.
